If organizations want to successfully compete at home and abroad, then they need to find ways to retain high-quality employees.

It has been proven  companies that achieve a higher retention rate allocate less money on hiring and training new employees. Depending on a profession, it could cost thousands of dollars to hire and train new staff members.

The first step is to hire the best candidate for the position and the next important step is to retain them. This can be achieved by a proper screening process and see if they are a good fit for the organization.

It is important that all employees be treated fairly no matter what their cultural background. However, it is important to keep in mind that many new immigrants have obligations to extended relatives and friends: hospital visits, birthdays, weddings and funerals, etc.

This is not always the case among many westerners.  Accommodating all employees for certain occasions is a good business that is profitable and productive.
